Investigating complex series of events may require several queries, each starting at a point discovered in the previous query. In the LogJammer, such cascaded queries are shown as nested, like sub-folders of a tree control.

Opening nested queries is just like opening a normal queries--clicking a "+" icon. Just do it more than once, with new query terms each time.

Each query has its own summary row of query terms, each row color-coded and nested to match the matching rows it describes.

Each query can be closed separately. But note... closing one query closes all of the sub-queries "inside" it.
